As soon as the Ayodhya gang rape case got linked to Sitapur, the village of Moodikheda in Laharpur has become a topic of discussion in the entire state. Ganeshpur turn comes from the Laharpur-Sitapur main road, 22 km away from the district headquarters, from where the road of Moodikheda village starts after moving three kilometers ahead on the paved road. The third house on the narrow gravel road inside the village belongs to Raju Khan. This is the same Raju who is accused of raping a minor in Ayodhya. The villagers are ashamed to know about Raju's connection with the incident. They say that this is bad. Raju has tarnished the entire village with his act.

There was silence in the village of Moodikheda on Monday. When the Ayodhya rape case was discussed with the villagers, they bowed their heads. At first, no one was ready to talk about Raju Khan.

With great difficulty, Riyaz Khan said that he came to know about the case after reading the newspaper. Raju came to the village a few days after the incident. He left after staying for some time. After this he said... I don't want to talk about such a disgusting person.

He stayed in the village for some time and went to Laharpur

Rehan said that after the incident Raju was living in Laharpur town. Later it was found that the police had caught him. According to the villagers, Raju was hiding in Thatheri Tola of Laharpur town area.

He used to come to the village sometimes

Villager Mateen Khan said that Raju used to come to the village only sometimes. Seeing him, it never seemed that he could do something like this.

Five brothers and four sisters

Raju Khan's family lives in Mudikheda village itself. All of them are laborers. Raju has five brothers and four sisters. The family has just one bigha of land, which is looked after by the elder brother Shadab.

Father Ayaz Khan is 58 years old. He did not come out of the house even after knocking on the door for a long time. Villagers said that he has not talked to anyone since coming to know about the incident. At the same time, the women of the house told from inside that he had gone out somewhere.

The financial condition of the family is pathetic

Altaf Khan, a resident of Mudikheda, said that the financial condition of Raju's family is pathetic. There is a thatched roof on the raw verandah. The house is made permanent, but there is no plaster. The family members run the expenses by working as laborers. About four years ago, Raju went to Ayodhya with his friends. There, he started working in the bakery of the SP leader.

Strict action should be taken against the culprits after investigation

Instead of giving political color to this issue, the court should take suo motu cognizance and make arrangements for the proper security of the girl. District President Akhilesh Yadav, Metropolitan President Ved Singh Kamal, Women District President Renu Rai, Metropolitan President of Mahila Morcha Savita Yadav, Umesh Upadhyay, and Rohit Yadav were present in the delegation.
