Badlapur Case: Akshay Shinde's family makes serious allegations against the police, and refuses to take the body, the administration is busy convincing them

The family of Akshay Shinde, accused in the Badlapur rape case, has made serious allegations against the police. The family says that Akshay has been killed in a fake encounter. The family has refused to take the body. At the same time, the father of the accused has filed a petition in the Bombay High Court. In the petition, a demand has been made to get the case investigated by the Special Investigation Team (SIT). Akshay Shinde died in a police encounter on 23 September.

Akshay Shinde's father Anna Shinde's lawyer Amit Katranware has placed this petition before the bench of Justice Revati Mohite Dere and Justice Prithviraj Chavan. On Tuesday, the Maharashtra government handed over the investigation of the encounter to the CID. The Thane Crime Branch had encountered the accused Akshay Shinde on 23 September at around 6:15 pm, which he died. The Thane Crime Branch had taken Akshay from Taloja jail to Badlapur. The government had said that Akshay snatched the revolver from the police and fired, on which the police fired in self-defense, in which Akshay was killed.

 

After this incident, Akshay's family alleged that he was beaten up badly in custody. An encounter was done to suppress the matter. They were not even allowed to see his dead body. At the same time, politics has heated up regarding this encounter. The opposition has raised the question that when Akshay was in handcuffs, how could he fire?

 

He was accused of intimacy abusing girls in school.

 

Akshay was accused of intimacy abusing girls in a school in Badlapur. Also, a case of  harassment of his ex-wife was registered against him. The police took him from jail to Badlapur in the case of harassment of his ex-wife. The government says that while returning to jail after an investigation, Akshay snatched a police officer's revolver and allegedly fired three bullets at the policemen. One of which hit Assistant Police Inspector Sanjay Shinde's thigh. Akshay was shot in the head in police retaliation. The crime branch team took Akshay to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
