Because of the increasing cases of Corona, the government has deferred CBSE 10th and 12th examinations. All the students of 10th will be promoted. The 12th is currently deferred. It will be decided on 1 June.

These 4 major decisions on the exam

1. The 12th examinations, which were to be held from May 4 to June 14, have been deferred. The CBSE board will review on 1 June. After this, the 12th examinations will be decided. Students will be notified of the examinations at least 15 days before the exam.

2. The exams for the 10th class have been canceled. These two were to be held from 4 May to 14 June.

3. Students of 10th will be promoted. The board will set up a criterion for this, under which students will get a promotion.

4. If a student is not satisfied with the result, then he will be given a chance to take the exam. These examinations will be conducted only after the circumstances improve.

These decisions were taken after an hour-long meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Wednesday afternoon. Earlier many leaders and state governments have demanded to postpone the board exams of CBSE. These include Delhi and Punjab.
