Ranveer Singh's film, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, shows no signs of slowing down at the box office. It has been over 20 days since the film hit theaters, yet its momentum at the box office has not diminished in the slightest.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, this spy thriller has cemented Ranveer Singh's status as the 'King' of the box office. Now, the 'King' of the cricket world—Virat Kohli—has recently shared his review of this blockbuster film starring Ranveer Singh.
"I have never seen cinema like this before," says Virat Kohli.
Cricket icon Virat Kohli recently took to his official Instagram account to share a lengthy post, showering Dhurandhar 2 with lavish praise. He wrote, "I watched the film today, and I can confidently say that I have never experienced cinema like this in India before. This film evoked every possible emotion, and for four hours, I wasn't bored for even a single second."
Virat continued in his post, "Aditya Dhar, your talent and conviction shine through clearly in this film you have created... A salute to you. You are a genius. While every actor was magnificent in their respective roles, Ranveer Singh—after this film, you have reached an entirely different level. Your performance went far beyond excellence. Truly outstanding."
Aditya Dhar Gets Emotional Over Virat Kohli's Praise
Director Aditya Dhar was deeply moved upon receiving such high praise for his film, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, from cricketer Virat Kohli. He responded to Virat's post by describing him as a "legend born once in a generation." Aditya wrote:
"Wow... I can't believe this is happening. Virat, this means the world to me. I have been a huge fan of yours since your Under-19 World Cup days. When a legend like you—someone born once in a generation—shows such immense love for a film, it touches the heart on a whole different level." Expressing his gratitude to Virat, Aditya Dhar further wrote, "The way you represent our country every single time is immensely inspiring for all of us. We, too, are striving to make India feel proud through this film of ours... Jai Hind."
