Daniel Balaji Death: Bad news is coming out from South Cinema. Well-known actor Daniel Balaji, who created the magic of acting in Tamil and Malayalam films, is no more. The actor died on Friday (29 March) at the age of 48.

The sudden demise of TC Balaji, popularly known as Daniel Balaji, has come as a big shock not only to the fans but also to the industry. The actor died on Friday due to a heart attack. Yesterday he suddenly started having chest pain. Then he was admitted to the hospital in Kottivakam, Chennai, but the actor died during treatment.

Daniel Balaji's body will be buried at his residence in Purasaivalakam on Saturday. Daniel's loved ones are shocked by his demise. People are paying tribute to him on social media.

 

The director paid tribute

Director Mohan Raja has paid tribute to the actor. "Very sad news. He was the inspiration for me to join the Film Institute. A great friend. I miss working with him. May his soul rest in peace," he posted on Instagram.

 

Daniel's first film was not released

Daniel Balaji has been in the industry for a long time. He has been working in cinema for almost three decades. He started his career with Kamal Haasan's film Marudhanayagam, which was never released. After the first film could not be released, Daniel turned to TV and earned the name from the serial Chithi. After this serial, he was named Daniel.

 

Sundar K Vijayan, director of Daniel's second serial Alaigal, had suggested he change his name to Daniel because his character in Chithi was suiting him. Talking about films, she has shared the screen with actors like Kamal Haasan, Thalapathy Vijay, and Suriya in many films including April Maadhathil, Kaakha Kaakha, and Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu.
