“I felt that we had a chance to win. No, we were simply debating whether to bowl a yorker or a slower delivery. Given the way the pitch was playing, we decided that if a slower ball landed in the right spot, it would be extremely difficult for the batter to hit a boundary off it.”

‘We were very happy after putting up a total of 210 runs. We always felt that, on this wicket, we were 10–15 runs above the par score. Even when we were batting during the death overs, hitting big shots wasn’t easy because the wicket was on the slower side. We felt that if we bowled well, we should be able to win this match.
