Let us tell you that the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report presented on the excise policy will be discussed in the Delhi Assembly today. On the other hand, on the third day of the Delhi Assembly session, all 21 opposition MLAs are missing from the House. All of them have been expelled from the House till Friday. Senior BJP leader Vijay Goyal arrived to watch the proceedings in the Delhi Assembly House.

In the House, BJP MLA Satish Upadhyay raised the issue of politics being done on the pictures of martyr Bhagat Singh and Baba Saheb. He raised the issue of Bhagat Singh's statue being damaged during the AAP government in his area Malviya Nagar.

MLA Mohan Singh raised the issue of the problem of dirty water coming into Mustafabad. Said that the water pipelines laid in his area have been damaged. The public is troubled by dirty water.

RK Puram MLA Anil Sharma also raised the issue of dirty water coming into his area and also told the House about sewer blockage. He said that there are four villages in our area in which the sewer is blocked. He said that this problem is also coming in colonies like Satya Niketan.

Aatishi protesting with AAP MLAs.

Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly and former CM Atishi has sat on a dharna with her party MLAs. AAP leaders are protesting near the barricading. They allege that on the orders of the Speaker, the police are not allowing AAP MLAs to enter the assembly premises.

Atishi said that the police officers were saying that we (AAP MLAs) are suspended from the Assembly, so we will not even be allowed to enter the assembly premises. This is undemocratic and unconstitutional. Atishi said how can we be stopped? We tried to talk to the Speaker, but nothing was happening.

Former CM Atishi attacked the BJP.

Former Delhi CM Atishi posted on X and wrote that the BJP people crossed the limits of dictatorship as soon as they came to power. Aam Aadmi Party MLAs were suspended from the House for three days for raising slogans of 'Jai Bhim'. And today "AAP" MLAs are not even being allowed to enter the assembly premises. It has never happened in the history of the Delhi Assembly that elected MLAs are not allowed to enter the assembly premises.

At the same time, a post has also been made on X from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) official account. In that post, it was written that the dictatorial attitude of the BJP government in Delhi. When Aam Aadmi Party MLAs raised slogans of Baba Saheb in the House, they were suspended for three days. Now today AAP MLAs are not even being allowed to enter the assembly building. This has happened for the first time in the history of the Delhi Assembly. This is the murder of democracy and dictatorship.

On the other hand, BJP MLA Satish Upadhyay said in the CAG report that the kind of corruption exposed in this CAG report, the way Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has benefited its close ones, will be discussed today and the real face of AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and his entire cabinet will also be exposed.

He said that the money that should have been spent for the welfare of the people of Delhi, all that money went into the pockets of dishonest people. Aam Aadmi Party will have to answer for the loss of revenue of more than Rs 2000 crore to Delhi through discussion in the House.

The questions raised in the CAG report should be investigated.

Congress has demanded an investigation into the questions raised in the CAG report regarding the excise policy. State Congress President Devendra Yadav said that the conclusion of the CAG report is loot, lies, and division. The then government of Aam Aadmi Party used to claim that the revenue is increasing due to the excise policy, but it is clear from the CAG report that the revenue of the Delhi government has suffered a loss of more than Rs 2002 crore. Due to the fight between BJP and AAP, this report could not be discussed in the Assembly.

In the press conference, he demanded to widen the scope of the investigation of the liquor scam and also include the complaint given by Congress to the Police Commissioner in September 2022.

How were the licenses given to open liquor shops?

Important questions related to the role of senior BJP leaders and the then Lieutenant Governor have been ignored in the CAG report. Why and who decided to change three excise directors within a year? The then Lieutenant Governor had permitted to implementation of the liquor policy of the Kejriwal government, why has no investigation been done on it to date? How were the licenses given to open liquor shops in violation of the master plan, this should also be investigated.

This is a big question, without the permission of the Delhi Municipal Corporation, liquor shops cannot be opened and at that time BJP was in the corporation. What were the reasons that the BJP allowed the Delhi government to open liquor shops even in non-notified areas? The role of political parties related to the Aam Aadmi Party in the liquor scam should also be investigated. Former MP Sandeep Dixit and others were present at the press conference.
