Former Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi joined BJP on Saturday. Describing the joining of BJP as the golden moment, Dinesh Trivedi said that BJP is like a family of people. Here work is done not only for the service of the party but also for the public. Not only this, Dinesh Trivedi said on TMC that a family is served there. For me, the country has been paramount and it always will be. If the country had not been paramount, the way the BJP is moving forward today, it would not have happened.

On joining Dinesh Trivedi's party, JP Nadda said that now the right people have come to the right party. JP Nadda, while praising Dinesh Trivedi, said that he has spent his political life for the principles. He has always made sacrifices for the principles. At the same time, Dinesh Trivedi said that I was waiting to join BJP. Trivedi said, 'Nadda Ji, like you talked about the idea, I would say that we are in public life because the people and the country are important.' Trivedi said that the BJP is like a family of the people in a way.

Dinesh Trivedi resigned as TMC's Rajya Sabha MP in Parliament during the budget session. The joining of Dinesh Trivedi after the announcement of elections in West Bengal will be a big boost for the BJP. Dinesh Trivedi, who was the railway minister, had to resign from his post after increasing the fare and it was said that due to pressure from Mamata Banerjee, he had to resign from the post. Since this incident, his relationship with Mamta Banerjee was not very good.

Old headaches for Mamata: After several veteran TMC leaders like Mukul Roy, Shubhendu Adhikari, now Dinesh Trivedi's coming to the BJP's court is going to raise concern for Mamata Banerjee just before the election summer. Mamta Banerjee on Friday released her list of 291 candidates in West Bengal and announced to contest from Nandigram seat herself. His former warlord was here and now BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari can challenge him.

It was said in the Rajya Sabha, TMC is suffocating: it is clear that Mamata Banerjee is facing a tough challenge along with BJP as well as her former colleagues. To answer this challenge of BJP, perhaps Mamat Banerjee has decided to enter the battle from Nandigram itself. She had earlier won from Bhawanipur in 2011 and 2016. Dinesh Trivedi has been with those leaders who were with Mamata Banerjee since the inception of TMC. Dinesh Trivedi, while announcing his resignation from the Rajya Sabha, said that he is suffocated in the atmosphere of violence and corruption in the state and he is not in a position to speak anything. In such a situation, I have decided to resign as a Rajya Sabha member.

After their resignation, Trivedi had told PM Modi and Shah, friend: Even after resigning from Rajya Sabha, Dinesh Trivedi did not refuse to join BJP and called PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah as his old friends. On the resignation of Dinesh Trivedi, senior TMC leader Saugata Roy attacked him, saying that he is not a mass leader and his departure will give a chance to a new leader.
