Shah Rukh replied to the fan and wrote, "Because Gautam Gambhir is our own." He is the captain of KKR and has a family.'' Kolkata Knight Riders' coach is Chandrakant Pandit and the captain is Shreyas Iyer. Now both of them will get the support of mentor Gautam Gambhir. Shahrukh and Gautam have a good relationship. Even when Gambhir was with another team, Shahrukh used to praise him. Both had met several times in recent times. Due to this, there were speculations that Gautam might return to KKR.
