It is being said that he was cleaning his licensed revolver when it misfired. Now the actor has been admitted to the Critical Care Hospital. The actor's condition is said to be stable right now. According to reports, Govinda has been kept in the ICU.

He was keeping his licensed revolver in the case when the revolver slipped from his hand and a bullet was fired which hit his leg. The doctor has removed the bullet and his condition is fine. He is currently in the hospital.
