Corona continues to wreak havoc in the country. More than one and a half million corona patients are being found every day in the country. The death toll also continues to increase. Meanwhile, a frightening picture has emerged from the largest government hospital in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. A pile of Covid corpses has been found in Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital. The bodies are seen on every side of the hospital from the stretcher to the floor. The situation is that there is less space to keep the dead bodies in the hospital.

The number of people who died of corona infection at the Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital can be gauged from the fact that the freezers in the hospital are full, from the stretcher to the hospital premises, covid bodies are seen all around. At the moment, where the place is seen in the hospital, the corpse is being kept there.

There is no empty bed in the hospital

Expressing helplessness, a hospital official said that the bodies of the patients who died from the corona are fast being deposited in the morgue for the last rites. The condition of the hospital is such that the ICU and oxygenated beds are already full.

CMO said - difficult to arrange a freezer

Meera Baghel, Chief Medical Officer of Raipur, said that no one could have guessed that there would be so many deaths in one go. We are unable to understand how reports of 10 to 20 deaths are coming in place of one to two deaths. It is impossible to arrange the bodies of so many people in the freezer simultaneously.

No symptoms, then suddenly worsening health

According to a senior hospital official, we had almost won the battle against corona infection. Measures such as home isolation were highly effective, but this new wave of the corona is beyond comprehension. Many cases are coming up where patients do not have symptoms and their health is also deteriorating rapidly. He later died of a heart attack.

55 bodies cremated daily

An official source said that about 55 bodies are being cremated every day in Raipur. Most of them died of the corona.
