Rohit set a world record for sixes
In ODI cricket, Rohit Sharma has become the batsman to hit the most sixes in a calendar year. Hitman has hit a total of 60 sixes so far in the year 2023. Rohit achieved this special feat by hitting two sixes against the Netherlands. In this matter, he has left behind AB de Villiers, who had scored 58 sixes in the year 2015. At the same time, Rohit has now gone ahead of Chris Gayle who hit 56 sixes in 2019.
Kohli equaled Sachin
Virat Kohli has reached par with Sachin Tendulkar in terms of scoring the most half-centuries in a single season of the ODI World Cup. Sachin had scored 7 fifties in the World Cup played in 2003.
