News of another terrorist attack is coming from Jammu. According to sources, terrorists fired on an army ambulance in Akhnoor, Jammu on Monday. After the firing, the entire area has been cordoned off by security forces.

 

According to the information, an army ambulance was going into the Jogwan area of ​​​​Akhnoor city of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday morning. Then a group of terrorists opened fire on it. After this incident, the police and the army have become alert and a large-scale search operation is being carried out in the entire area.

 

15-20 rounds of firing reported

 

It has been said that this attack took place in the Battal area near Shivsan temple in Jogwan at 7:25 am on Monday (28 October 2024). Three to four terrorists fired 15-20 rounds on the ambulance and other vehicles. However, there is no news of any casualties.

 

There was a terrorist attack on Friday as well.

 

Earlier on Thursday (24 October 2024), an army vehicle was attacked by terrorists in the Bota Pathri area, 6 km from Gulmarg, a tourist attraction. Then two soldiers and a coolie were killed in the firing by terrorists, while one soldier and a coolie are reported to be injured. On Friday, security forces deployed drones and helicopters for a large-scale search operation on the Line of Control (LoC) in the Gulmarg sector and the area. Baramulla Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mohammad Zaid Malik had said that according to the evidence we got in the Bota Pathri attack, 3-4 terrorists were involved in the attack.
