After the lockdown, the demand of transporting stranded people to their homes has started increasing rapidly. Not only the state government, local MPs are also under pressure. In such a situation, possibilities are also being discovered as to how to get people trapped in lock-downs to their homes. The biggest medium is the railway, so the railway is also ready on its behalf. If the green signal is received from the central government, then some special trains can be run in the green zone. However, the Railways has categorically denied this.
On Monday, online conferencing of the Chief Ministers of all the states is scheduled with the Prime Minister. In such a situation, it is possible that some states may discuss calling people stranded in their state. In such a situation, the railway can run some special trains. So that people can be transported from one place to another. According to railway sources, if a special train runs for them, then this train will not stop on the way and neither the passengers can stop the train. The train will run from a certain destination and will stop where it has been approved.
Who will travel with this special train will get the approval from the state government. No fee for the journey will also be charged from the passengers. Keeping in mind the spread of the corona virus, social distancing will be taken care not only of the train but also of the station. If such a special train runs, then non AC will also run in which no one will be allowed to sit at the middle berth. An isolated coach will also run with the special train. In which there will be a team of doctors. According to railway officials, there is no plan to run any train yet.
However, he also said that railway preparation is available all the time. To run the train, first of all, the Ministry of Health should get the green signal. There is no decision at the moment. The first notice will be issued whenever the train runs. A department cannot take a decision because of Kovid-19.
