Narendra Modi has taken oath as Prime Minister for the third consecutive time on Saturday evening. He took oath with his new cabinet in a program organized at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Modi 3.0 is different from Modi 1.0 and Modi 2.0 in many ways. In this cabinet, not only the number of ministers is more than the other two tenures, but many MPs from allied parties have also been included in the cabinet. Like the first two cabinets, Madhya Pradesh dominates this Modi 3.0 cabinet. Whereas Chhattisgarh has been disappointed. Only one minister has been made from the state. Bilaspur MP Tokhan Sahu has been made a Minister of State in the Modi cabinet. Sahu has become an MP for the first time by winning the Lok Sabha elections.

5 faces from Madhya Pradesh have got a place in the Modi cabinet. These include 3 cabinet and 2 state ministers. Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Jyotiraditya Scindia, and Dr. Virendra Kumar Khatik took oath as cabinet ministers. While Durgadas Uike and Savitri Thakur have taken oath as ministers of state. Apart from this, Rajya Sabha MP L Murugan from Madhya Pradesh has also been made a minister of state. MP from Vidisha and former CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has become a minister at the center for the first time. On the other hand, MP from Guna Jyotiraditya Scindia has become a member of the Modi cabinet for the second consecutive time. Shivraj and Scindia belong to the OBC category.

The 5 MPs who have been made ministers include Shivraj Singh (Central India), Jyotiraditya Scindia (Gwalior-Chambal), Dr. Virendra Kumar Khatik (Bundelkhand), Savitri Thakur (Malwa-Nimar) and Durgadas Uike (Narmada belt) from the region. Only the MP got a chance from Chhattisgarh

BJP had made former Lormi MLA Tokhan Sahu its candidate from the Bilaspur Lok Sabha seat. Tokhan Sahu has registered a historic victory in this seat. In the election, Tokhan Sahu defeated Congress candidate Devendra Yadav by a margin of more than 1 lakh 64 thousand votes. He started his political career from the post of Panch in 1994 from Surajpura, a small village in Lormi. Tokhan Sahu is known as a very popular public representative in the area. Tokhan was elected Sarpanch from Panch, then District Member, and then MLA from Lormi Assembly seat in the year 2013. In the year 2015, while being an MLA, he was also given the post of Parliamentary Secretary during the tenure of Raman Singh. At the same time, a few months ago, Tokhan Sahu has also been made the state president of Chhattisgarh BJP's Kisan Morcha. At the same time, leaders like Brijmohan Agarwal, who was elected MLA eight times and became MP by winning the highest number of votes in the state, Santosh Pandey, who was elected MP for the second time, and Vijay Baghel have been disappointed.
