Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced Corona vaccination through video conferencing at 11.05 am on Saturday. Earlier in the 35-minute speech, he said that the vaccine has come in a very short time. In the first phase, 3 crore people will be vaccinated. 100 countries of the world do not even have this much population. The Prime Minister also became emotional during his address. Said that many people put their lives in danger to save us.

The program is being run simultaneously at 3006 sites in all 29 states and union territories (UTs). Health workers and frontline workers are being vaccinated in the first phase. At least 100 people will be vaccinated on every site on the first day. Therefore, 3 lakh 15 thousand 37 people will get vaccinated today across the country.

8 key points of Modi's speech

Congratulations to the Vaccine Maker

For how many months, in every house of the country, children and old men had the same question on the tongue, when will the corona vaccine come. So now the corona vaccine has arrived. Scientists associated with making the vaccine are entitled to thanks. Neither he saw the festival, nor saw the day, nor saw the night. In such a short time, not one or two Made in India vaccines are ready. For similar achievements, Rashtrakavi Ramdhari Singh Ji Dinkar had said - When a human exerts force, the stone becomes water.

Those who have more risk, first get vaccinated

India's vaccination campaign is very much based on humanization. Those who have the highest risk of corona infection will get the vaccine first. Those staffing the hospital are entitled to the first corona vaccine. After this, those people who are responsible for the security or law and order of the country will be vaccinated. Security forces, police, fire brigade, and scavengers will be vaccinated. Their number is around 3 crore. The Government of India will bear the cost of their vaccination.

The second dose is very important

After the first vaccination, the second dose will be given, information will also be given on your phone. It is very important to apply two doses of the vaccine. One got drunk and the other forgot, don't make such a mistake. There will be a gap of about one month between the first and second doses. Only after the second dose, your body will develop strength against the corona. Do not be careless as soon as the vaccine is installed. The patience with which Corona was fought, is to be shown at the time of vaccination.

Historical vaccination

No major vaccination campaign has yet been conducted in history. India is vaccinating more than 30 million people in the first phase, while the population of more than 100 countries of the world is less than this. We will take the vaccination target to 30 crore in the second phase. China and India are the only three countries with such a population in the world. It is therefore a historical vaccination.

Stay away from propaganda

You have to avoid any propaganda or propaganda. Our scientists have a lot of credibility in the world. We have gained this trust from our track record. You will be very proud that 60% of all children in the world who get life-saving vaccines are made in India.

Chet had gone before the first case came

The first case of corona was found in India on 30 January. But two weeks before that India had formed the High-Level Committee. On 17 January 2020, we issued the first advisory. India was among the first countries to start screening its passengers at its airport. The collective power in India which is cited in the fight against Corona will be remembered by generations to come.

Gave priority to people's lives

We maintained the confidence of the country by clapping and lighting the lamp. The most effective way to stop the corona was to stay where it was. But keeping such a large population of the country closed was not easy. The effect of this on the economy was also our concern, but we gave priority to the life of the person.

India took care, also became helpful

India was also the leader in following the 'two yards, mask is necessary'. This is the reason why the death rate of corona in India is extremely low. India is one of the few countries that has delivered essential medicines and necessary medical aid (paracetamol, hydroxychloroquine) to over 150 countries even after a difficult period. Not only our own, but we also brought out citizens of many other countries from China. 3.5 million Indians were brought to India from another country under the Vande Bharat mission.
