Monsoon has slowed down over Northwest India. According to the Meteorological Department, it is not likely to reach the capital Delhi in the next two days. However, even after this, there is a possibility of rain with a strong wind in Delhi today. The Meteorological Department said that due to westerly winds, the pace of monsoon has slowed down in North-West India. It is less likely to reach Delhi within the next two days. However, light to moderate rain may occur in the capital on Tuesday and Wednesday. According to the IMD, conditions are favorable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into most parts of Madhya Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, and some more parts of Punjab in the next 24 hours.
According to the Meteorological Department, the Southwest Monsoon has advanced into the rest of the northwest Bay of Bengal, some more parts of Odisha, most parts of West Bengal, some parts of Jharkhand, and Bihar. The Low-Pressure Area now lies over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal and North Odisha Coasts. This low-pressure area will soon become more powerful, due to which it is likely to affect Odisha, Jharkhand, and North Chhattisgarh during the next 2-3 days.
The Meteorological Department (IMD) said that due to southwesterly winds, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha (Maharashtra), and Telangana during the next 3-4 days. Heavy rains are very likely over West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand during the next 4-5 days.
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rains have been predicted in the coastal and adjoining Ghat districts of Maharashtra and Goa, and Karnataka during the next 5 days. There is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra on 15th June 2021 in Konkan and Goa around 15th June. Around June 15, there is a possibility of heavy rain at different places in Kerala.
Rain in parts of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan during next 2 hours
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted light to moderate rain in Delhi and parts of Haryana and Rajasthan on Tuesday. The Meteorological Department tweeted that in the next two hours, many places in Delhi, Bahadurgarh, Manesar, Gurugram, Sohna, Nuh, Kaithal, Karnal, Panipat, Ganaur, Sonipat, Mahawa, Rajgarh, Tijara, Deeg, Bharatpur, Alwar (Rajasthan) Thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity with a speed of 20-40 kmph would occur over and over and over the adjoining areas. The weather forecast agency also said that there will be hailstorms in Farukhnagar and Bahadurgarh in Haryana during the next one hour.
Red alert in Bihar for rain

Heavy rain alert for UP in many districts of UP
The southwest monsoon that arrived in Uttar Pradesh a week ago is yet to please the entire state. Meteorological director JP Gupta says that the eastern zone will be completely covered in the next two days, while the monsoon will take a little more time to become active in the districts of western UP. At present, the process of Monsoon rains is continuing in many parts of Central and East UP including Lucknow. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rains in some areas of eastern UP on Tuesday, June 15, while in the western regions, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning. During this, strong winds can also blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
