With the 2022-23 season of the Indian Super League (ISL) coming to a close, the clubs have sealed their list of foreign players. Foreign players have had a lot of influence in the ISL. Many foreign footballers have single-handedly won the team with their performance. In such a situation, in this league, the clubs try to sign the best foreign star players.

The transfer window this year once again saw a fierce battle between the ISL teams to sign some of the brightest players. Mumbai City FC signed talisman Greg Stewart. Greg had taken Jamshedpur FC to the ISL Shield last season. Meanwhile, after a long stint at ATK Mohun Bagan, star footballer Roy Krishna decided to join Bengaluru FC.

East Bengal inducts Clayton Silva from the Blues as their new entrant. Also, East Bengal created a stir by signing Ivan Gonzalez from FC Goa. Apart from this, ATK Mohun Bagan has strengthened its team by signing Florentin Pogba. Florentine Pogba is the brother of French footballer Paul Pogba, who plays for the Italian Football Club. The Mariners, meanwhile, retained the services of Carl McHugh, Hugo Boumous, and Johnny Kauko.

Last season's champions Hyderabad FC managed to retain last season's top scorer Bartholomew Ogbeche. Many teams had tried to include Bartholomew in their team, but Hyderabad did not allow this to happen. This edition of ISL is going to be interesting amidst these foreign stars.
