New Delhi: The number of patients infected with Corona virus in the country has reached two and a quarter lakh. According to the latest data of the Health Ministry on Friday morning, 2 lakh 26 thousand 770 people have been infected with Corona so far. Out of this 6348 have died, while one lakh 9 thousand people have also been cured. In the last 24 hours, 9851 new cases of Corona virus have been reported in the country and 273 deaths have occurred.

The pace of increasing cases in India has come at number three in the world. On Wednesday, there were 27,312 new cases in Brazil and 20,578 new cases in America, while 8536 new cases came in Russia. This directly means that India has reached number three in the world in the increase of new cases in one day. There are 9851 new cases in India today. India ranks seventh among the countries most affected by the Corona epidemic after the US, Brazil, Russia, Britain, Spain and Italy.

 

How many deaths occurred in which state?

According to the Ministry of Health, 2710 in Maharashtra, 1155 in Gujarat, 650 in Delhi, 377 in Madhya Pradesh, 355 in West Bengal, 245 in Uttar Pradesh, 220 in Tamil Nadu, 213 in Rajasthan, 105 in Telangana, 71 in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka. 57 deaths occurred in Punjab, 35 in Jammu and Kashmir, 29 in Bihar, 24 in Haryana, 14 in Kerala, 6 in Jharkhand, 7 in Odisha, 4 in Assam, 5 in Himachal Pradesh, 1 died in Meghalaya.
