PAK vs NZ 1st T20. The first match of the five-match T20 series between Pakistan and New Zealand was played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on 14 April. In this match, the host team Pakistan defeated New Zealand by 88 runs. Haris Rauf performed amazingly in the match and he was awarded the man of the match award for this deadly performance. At the same time, Matt Henry also took a hat-trick in this match, but his hat-trick could not work for the Kiwi team.

Batting first, the Pakistan cricket team got off to a poor start. Opener Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed after scoring 8 runs. After these two wickets, Fakhar Zaman and Syam Ayub handled the team's innings and both the batsmen scored 47 runs. Apart from this, Faheem Ashraf scored 22 and Haris scored 11 runs. After this, the batsmen of the New Zealand team flopped while chasing 183 runs. The bowling of the Pakistan team was amazing, who bowled out New Zealand for just 94 runs and won the match by a huge margin of 88 runs. The most successful bowler from Pakistan was Haris Rauf who took 4 wickets in his name. Apart from this, Imad Wasim also took 2 wickets. While Shaheen Afridi, Zaman Khan and Faheem Ashraf also got 1-1 success. At the same time, Mark Chapman scored the maximum 34 runs from the Kiwi team.
