Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday praised the Indian community in Japan for its commitment to preserving cultural roots and making meaningful contributions to Japanese society.

 

On his social media platform X, he wrote that I am overwhelmed by the affection and warmth of the Indian community in Tokyo. Their commitment to preserving our cultural roots while making meaningful contributions to Japanese society is truly commendable.

 

He further wrote that in a few hours from now, I will interact with a group of business leaders, focusing on further strengthening India-Japan trade and investment relations. At the same time, Prime Minister Modi said that this visit will provide an opportunity to deepen existing partnerships and explore new avenues of cooperation.

Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Japan. Here, he will participate in the 15th India-Japan Annual Summit. On the arrival of the PM in Japan, he was welcomed by Japan's Ambassador to India, Ono Keiichi, India's Ambassador to Japan, Sibi George, and other senior officials.

Let us tell you that during his visit on 29-30 August, Prime Minister Modi will hold his first formal bilateral talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba. It is believed that both leaders expect India-Japan special strategic and global partnership.
