PM Modi: 'Women were left to their fate in previous governments', PM Modi gave a gift of Rs 10 thousand crores

Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the Empowered Women Development India program today. This program is being organized at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi. PM Modi allotted 1000 drones to Namo Didis under the Empowered Women Developed India program. NaMo Drone Didi participated in the program from 10 different places across the country. Operation of agricultural drones was also taught in the program. On this occasion, the Prime Minister also honored those 'Lakhpati Didis' who have achieved success with the help of Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihood Mission and are helping in the upliftment of the members of other self-help groups and giving them Inspiring.

 

'Women were left to their fate in previous governments'

During his address at the Empowered Women-Developed India program, PM Modi said that 'one thousand drones have been allotted to self-help groups under the NaMo Drone Didi scheme. Recently, more than 1 crore sisters in the country have become Lakhpati Didi due to various schemes and efforts. This figure is not small. Now I have decided to take this figure beyond three crores. For this purpose, today an amount of Rs 10 thousand crore has been transferred to the accounts of these sisters. The Prime Minister said that any country and society can move forward only by increasing the dignity of women's power and giving them new opportunities, but women were not the priority of the previous governments and they were left to their fate.

The Prime Minister said that 'if our mothers and sisters get some opportunity and support, then they no longer need support, they become the support of the people. Modi's sensibilities and Modi's plans have emerged from grassroots life experiences. When I talked about your empowerment from the Red Fort, unfortunately, political parties like Congress made fun of me and insulted me. I believe that women's power has the potential to lead the technological revolution in the 21st century. India has the highest number of commercial pilots and women are setting new records in the field of space, space, and science. I assure you that a new chapter will be written in the field of women's empowerment in the third term.

 

The government's focus on women's empowerment

Namo Drone Didi and Lakhpati Didi Scheme are schemes of the Government of India to promote women empowerment and the Modi government at the Center has a strong focus on women empowerment. The objective of these schemes is to empower women economically. Under the Namo Drone Didi scheme, women in rural areas of India are being trained to fly drones, due to which women are becoming drone pilots for use in farming activities. PM Modi today also honored those lakhpati didis who have become financially empowered with the support of Deendayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Yojana.

 

10 thousand crore rupees distributed to self-help groups

PM Modi also allocated about Rs 10 thousand crore to self-help groups today. This amount was given to self-help groups by the government in the form of bank linkage camps and capitalization assistance at low-interest rates under subsidy. The government plans to provide drones to 15 thousand self-help groups in the country, with the help of which women can do crop reviews, pesticide spraying, and seed planting in rural areas.
