On Monday, February 10, the first citizen of the country, President Draupadi Murmu will set foot on the holy land of Tirtharaj and will witness its grandeur and divinity. The President will take a bath in the Sangam here.

 

She will stay in Sangam city for more than eight hours. During this time, along with bathing in Sangam, she will also visit Akshayvat and Bade Hanuman temple. During this time, the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath will also be present with her.

 

This is the schedule of the President.

 

President Murmu will reach Sangam coast at around 10 am and take a holy dip in Triveni Sangam. By taking a holy dip in the confluence of Maa Ganga, Yamuna and invisible Saraswati, she will give a strong foundation to Sanatan faith. This will be a historic moment for the first citizen of the country to take a holy dip in Sangam.

 

Let us tell you that before this, the first President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad also took a holy bath in Maha Kumbh. After this, to give more strength to religious faith, she will visit and worship Akshayvat. In Sanatan culture, Akshayvat is considered a symbol of immortality. This is an important place of Hinduism, whose importance is also described in the Puranas.

 

The President will also visit the Hanuman temple.

 

After this, she will also visit the Bada Hanuman temple and pray for the happiness and prosperity of the countrymen. The President will also support the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to connect religious events with modern India and the digital age.

 

She will visit the Digital Mahakumbh Experience Center, in which detailed information about the Mahakumbh fair is being made available through technical means. It has been set up here to enable devotees from the country and abroad to experience this wonderful event more closely.

 

The President will spend eight hours in Prayagraj.

The President will leave for New Delhi from Prayagraj at 5:45 pm. This visit of the President will not only be historic for Prayagraj, but will also be an inspirational moment for devotees across the country. His presence will give a new height to the religious, cultural and spiritual significance of the Mahakumbh. Given the President's visit, security arrangements have been tightened in Prayagraj.
