New Delhi, April 10 (IANS) Priyanka Gandhi, daughter of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, and her husband Robert Vadra voted here Thursday in the Lok Sabha election.
Priyanka was casually dressed in a brown kurta, with a white salwar, while Vadra wore pink trousers with a black blazer, which instantly started trending on twitter.
Someone tweeted: "Robert Vadra goes to vote in pink pants! Where is the fashion police?"
The couple, who voted at Lodhi Road in the New Delhi constituency, flashed their inked fingers to the media.
"There is no Modi wave," Priyanka Gandhi shouted at the media after casting her vote.
She also said that she will campaign only in Amethi and Rae Bareli, the constituencies of mother Sonia Gandhi and her brother and Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi.
