Rahul Gandhi vs Mohan Bhagwat: Rahul Gandhi attacks RSS chief, says Mohan Bhagwat insulted the Constitution

Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi inaugurated the party's new office on Wednesday. In this program, Congress and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi attacked RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. He said that Mohan Bhagwat attacked the Constitution. This is treason and an insult to the Constitution.

Rahul Gandhi said that yesterday Mohan Bhagwat said that the Constitution is not a symbol of our independence. But even after this, thousands of our workers were killed in Punjab, Kashmir, Northeast. But Congress has still stood for certain values. We can see those values in this building. He said that the Western world focuses outside of itself, while the Indian way of thinking is about understanding oneself. India also has two views about itself, which is a conflict. One is our idea of the Constitution and the other is the idea of the RSS.

He said that Mohan Bhagwat tells the country every 2-3 days what he thinks about the freedom movement and the Constitution? What he said yesterday is treason. Bhagwat said that the Constitution was invalid and the fight against the British was invalid. In India, they have the guts to say this publicly. In any other country if they said this they would have been arrested and prosecuted. To say that India did not get independence in 1947 is an insult to every Indian. Now the time has come for us to stop listening to this nonsense because these people think that they will just keep on rote and keep on shouting.

Rahul Gandhi targeted the Center and said that those who are in power today do not salute the tricolor, do not believe in the national flag, do not believe in the Constitution and their vision of India is completely different from ours. They want India to be run by a shadowy, hidden, and secret society. They want India to be run by one man and they want to crush the voice of this country.

He said that they want to shut down the voices of Dalits, minorities, backward castes, and tribals. This is their agenda and I would like to say that there is no other party in this country that can stop them. The only party that can stop them is the Congress. The reason for this is that we are an ideological party and our ideology did not emerge yesterday. Our ideology is thousands of years old like the RSS and we have been fighting the ideology of the RSS for thousands of years.
