Former head of Kolkata's RG Kar Hospital, Sandeep Ghosh, has been accused of selling dead bodies and smuggling biomedicals. Akhtar Ali, the then deputy superintendent of RG Kar College, claims that he had made the allegations a year ago but the police did not register a complaint.

The CBI has questioned Sandeep Ghosh in the case of rape and murder of a junior doctor at RG Kar Hospital.

Akhtar Ali is currently posted as Deputy Superintendent at Murshidabad Medical College. Talking to the media, Ali said he had complained against Ghosh to the Anti-Corruption Unit. He also complained about this to the police but the police did not listen to him. Ghosh was accused of corruption, smuggling of dead bodies, and biomedicals.

Ali said a security officer named Khan was also involved in this smuggling game. Ali also accused Dr Ghosh of taking a 20 percent bribe for giving work orders or contracts and deliberately failing students. He has described Sandeep Ghosh as a smuggling mafia.

RG Medical College was ruled by a goon gang

After the rape and murder of a junior doctor in Kolkata's RG Medical College, various allegations are being leveled against the former principal of the college, Dr. Sandeep Ghosh and new revelations are being made every day. RG College was ruled by a goon gang with the support of Dr. Sandeep Ghosh.

This gang was involved in corruption, hooliganism, and extortion in the hospital for the last several years, and in an exclusive conversation with Amar Ujala, Dr. Utpal Bandhopadhyay, general secretary of the Association of Health Service Doctors West Bengal (AHSDWB) and orthopedic surgeon, revealed that a year ago, the deputy superintendent of RG Kar Hospital had submitted a document of one thousand pages to the health department. It alleged that there is a gang of goons in RG Kar Medical who are corrupt on a large scale and running a business of extortion.

All this information is in those documents. It is alleged that the gang extorts money from parking people and extorts money from nearby shops. There is corruption in the hospital's waste. Extortion is done in drug dealing. The hospital was ruled by a goon gang. No one in the hospital could open their mouth due to fear of them. Now an SIT has been formed to investigate the financial matters against Dr. Sandeep Ghosh.
