Rhea Chakraborty has reached the ED office. Rhea had earlier requested to postpone the inquiry, which was turned down. Rhea had said that her statement should not be taken till the Supreme Court decides on her petition. Rhea is accused of withdrawing 15 crore from Sushant's account and getting him invested in his company.

Meanwhile, ED has called Sushant's business manager Shruti Modi for questioning today. Sushant's friend Siddharth Pithani will be questioned on 8 August. Rhea has petitioned the Supreme Court to transfer the case registered against him in Patna to Mumbai.

ED can ask such questions

1. What business do your family people do? What is your and family's source of income? What is the income?

2. How many companies are you a director in and your family has a stake in these companies?

3. Can the ED inquire about the turnover of Rhea's companies and the earnings of their films?

4. The ED can ask them the details about the details of bank accounts and how much money they have deposited in many banks.

5. How many properties are there in your name and where are these assets? Has Sushant Singh Rajput's money invested in these properties?

6. Did you fully supervise Sushant's economic affairs or manage some of his money? Did you resort to a financial firm or a CA for this?

7. How were you operating Sushant's accounts? Did Sushant approve you to operate your accounts in writing or verbally?

Bihar government filed an affidavit in Supreme Court

On the other hand, the Bihar government has filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court. It says that in this case, the registration of a case in Bihar is not wrong from anywhere. The police have to file an FIR if they get information about the crime. The Mumbai Police did not cooperate with us, but we found that its wires are connected to the whole country, not only Mumbai.

It was also stated in the affidavit that the Bihar police could not investigate in this case, so it was requested from the Center to hand it over to the CBI. Now that the CBI has taken up the case, there is no need to hear Rhea's plea. The matter was heard on 5 August in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court had sought a reply from the Bihar government in 3 days.
