Khanchand Singh, father of the Indian cricket team's explosive batsman Rinku Singh, has passed away after a prolonged illness. Rinku Singh was battling stage-4 liver cancer. He breathed his last last night at Yatharth Hospital in Greater Noida. He had been hospitalized for nearly three days. Rinku Singh's father's struggle is also a factor in his success.

Aligarh's Rinku Singh became famous when he hit five consecutive sixes for Kolkata Knight Riders against Gujarat Titans in the 2023 IPL. After this, Rinku's dreams came true one after another. This success was due to the tireless hard work of his father. Cricketer Rinku Singh was born to Khanchand Singh, who worked at the Govila Gas Agency in Aligarh.

Rinku Singh's father worked as a hawker at the gas agency. Rinku is the third of five brothers and one sister. While preparing, Rinku Singh played in the Under-16 World Cup. Rinku was invited to the DPS World Cup, where he performed well and won Man of the Series. Following this, Rinku played for the Under-19 UP team, then Ranji Trophy, and then the IPL.

His father didn't let Rinku shoulder the burden of responsibility.

Rinku's younger brother, Jeetu, recalled that his brother played well for the first time in the IPL. With 29 runs needed in the last over, everyone assumed winning the match would be difficult.
