The month of November is almost over. Following snowfall in the hilly states, winter has begun to spread across North India. Meanwhile, a cyclonic storm is developing in the Bay of Bengal. The weather in the Andaman Sea could change suddenly within the next 24 hours.
According to the Meteorological Department, a low-pressure area is expected to form in the Bay of Bengal today. This is expected to bring heavy to very heavy rainfall to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands from November 25-29. Heavy rainfall is also forecast for Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Mahe from November 25-27.
The IMD has also predicted heavy rainfall in the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Puducherry until November 30. Due to this, the sea will remain rough, prompting fishermen and tourists to stay away from coastal areas.
Temperatures will fall in the hilly states.
Temperatures are dropping rapidly in most states in North India. Mercury is already breaking records in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has predicted a rapid drop in temperatures in Srinagar, Nainital, Dehradun, Manali, and Shimla today.
