Air India flight AIC24WC (Air India Champions 24 World Cup) reached India this morning. It is worth noting that the team led by Rohit Sharma, its support staff, some BCCI officials, and the players' families were stranded in Barbados due to storm Beryl. The team won the title by defeating South Africa by seven runs in the final on Saturday. Since then the team has been in its hotel there.

A welcome ceremony has been organized for them at Wankhede Stadium, where the Indian cricket team, coaches, and support staff will be felicitated and awarded with cash prizes of Rs 125 crore announced by the BCCI."
