The teaser for "Toxic" was recently released, and audiences have already received a great response. Along with Yash, the names of the film's leading ladies have also been revealed. Meanwhile, it's now been revealed that two more new faces will be seen in the film.

 

 

Yes, the makers have officially announced the inclusion of Akshay Oberoi and Sudev Nair in the film. Akshay Oberoi will play "Tony," and Sudev Nair will play "Karmaadi." It's believed that Akshay's character in the film will be set in the 1950s.

 

 

Akshay's powerful look is truly captivating. Sudev Nair's look in the film also looks quite unique. A cap on his head, a gun in his hand, and a dash of swag... The makers have officially shared both looks.

 

 

What did the makers say about these characters?

The film's director, Geetu Mohandas, said, "Finding the right actor for Karmadi was a key requirement in this journey. They needed someone who could be a strong support for the film without making any noise, and Sudev was perfect for this role. Sudev is not only a good actor but also a good human being."

 

 

He also praised Akshay Oberoi, believing that he is a perfect fit for both roles. Besides these two stars, the film will also feature several other stars.

 

 

The recently released teaser has already created a stir. It received over 200 million views in just 24 hours. Yash's clean-shaven look is also trending on social media.

 

 

Apart from Yash, the film also stars Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria in pivotal roles. 'Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups' has been simultaneously shot in Kannada and English. It will also be released in several languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. The film is scheduled to release worldwide on March 19, 2026.
