Shahbaz Ahmed and Sudip Kumar Gharami Hit Centuries
East Zone's huge total was built around outstanding centuries from Shahbaz Ahmed and Sudip Kumar Gharami.
Shahbaz produced the highest score of his first-class career, smashing 167 runs, while Gharami contributed a brilliant 146. Kumar Kushagra also added a valuable 55.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi Wears Taped Jersey Number
Vaibhav also attracted attention for his jersey during the match. His jersey number was covered with tape, leaving only the number 3 visible. The youngster has previously been associated with the number, which he prefers to wear.
Although his batting contribution was limited in this innings, Vaibhav's two-wicket spell added another dimension to his performance and underlined his developing all-round abilities.
