Vijay Deverakonda's car met with an accident, and a video surfaced. The actor was returning to Hyderabad.

Actor Vijay Deverakonda was traveling from Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, to Hyderabad, Telangana, when a car rear-ended his car. The Lexus LM350h was damaged in the accident. The other car reportedly continued toward Hyderabad without stopping. His driver has filed a complaint with the local police, who have registered a case and launched an investigation.

 

Actor Returning to Hyderabad

Actor Vijay Deverakonda's Lexus car collided with a Bolero that suddenly turned right, causing the accident. Vijay was inside the car at the time, but he escaped unhurt. Officials say the accident occurred suddenly because the Bolero changed direction, causing minor damage to the actor's car. The actor's car was damaged in the collision, but Vijay escaped unhurt. Vijay Deverakonda arrived safely in Hyderabad after the accident.

 

How the collision occurred

According to the police, "Actor Vijay Deverakonda was traveling from Puttaparthi to Hyderabad at around 3 p.m. when a Bolero car ahead of him suddenly swerved to the right, hitting the left side of his car. Vijay and two other people were in the car. Thankfully, no one was injured. He immediately found another vehicle, and his team filed a police complaint for insurance."

 

Vijay and Rashmika are reportedly engaged.

This news comes shortly after Vijay Deverakonda visited Sri Sathya Sai Baba's Prasanthi Nilayam Ashram with his family on Sunday. This news follows reports that the actor and Rashmika Mandanna got engaged on October 3 at Vijay's Hyderabad residence in a private ceremony attended by close family members.

 

According to media reports, the couple is expected to marry in a destination wedding in February 2026. However, neither Vijay nor Rashmika has made any official announcement on this matter.

 

On the professional front, Vijay was last seen in Gautham Tinnanuri's Telugu spy drama "Kingdom," which is currently streaming on Netflix.
