Vivo has officially launched the Vivo T5 5G in India, adding a new performance-focused smartphone to its T-series lineup. The handset combines a 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset, a large 7,050mAh battery and a 50MP Sony camera with OIS.

The Vivo T5 5G features a 6.83-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800×1260 pixels. The panel supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, making scrolling, animations and compatible games smoother. Vivo also lists up to 2,000 nits HBM brightness and 3,000 nits local peak brightness for the display.

 

Dimensity 7500 Turbo Processor and IP68/IP69 Protection

 

The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor and runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Vivo has equipped the device with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, along with military-grade durability features.

 

Vivo T5 5G Camera: 50MP Sony OIS Sensor

 

For photography, the Vivo T5 5G gets a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. A 32MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. Vivo also confirms 4K video recording on both the front and rear cameras.

 

7,050mAh Battery With 44W Fast Charging

 

One of the biggest highlights of the Vivo T5 5G is its 7,050mAh battery. The phone supports 44W FlashCharge, giving the device a strong focus on battery endurance. Vivo also highlights long-term battery-health performance for the handset.

 

Vivo T5 5G Price in India

 

The Vivo T5 5G starts at ₹34,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The other configurations are priced at ₹39,999 for 8GB+128GB, ₹44,999 for 8GB+256GB and ₹49,999 for the 12GB+256GB model. Vivo's official store confirms the ₹34,999 starting price and the available RAM/storage combinations.

 

The smartphone is available in Royal Bronze and Silver Green colour options. Sales are scheduled to begin on September 9 through Flipkart, Vivo's online store and partner retail channels.
