Wealthy Women List: Roshni Nadar is the richest woman in the country, Falguni Nair of NYKAA surpasses Kiran Mazumdar Shaw

Fashion brand NYKAA CEO Falguni Nair has surpassed Biocon CEO Kiran Mazumdar Shaw to become the richest self-made woman. Kotak Private Banking has become the second richest woman in the country with an increase of 963% in wealth by NYKAA CEO Hurun Leading Wealthy Women List.

 

Roshni Nadar Malhotra of HCL Technology is number one on this list. He is at number one on this list for the second year in a row. According to the list, his assets are Rs 84,330 crore. She is the only woman on this list who is leading a listed IT company. After him, Falguni Nair is second on this list with assets of Rs 57,520 crore.

 

Number three- Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Founder, and CEO of Biocon

 

Biocon's founder and CEO Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw are at number three in this list, with a net worth of Rs 29,030 crore. More recently, Biocon Biologics, a subsidiary of Biocon, has agreed to acquire Vytris's biosimilar business in the US for USD 3 billion (Rs 22,350 crore).

 

No. Four- Neelima Motaparti (Divi's Laboratories)

 

40-year-old Neelima Motaparti is number four on the list of rich women in India. She oversees Divi's Laboratories Material Sourcing and Procurement, Corporate Finance, and Investor Relations. According to the list, he has assets worth Rs 28180 crore.

 

Number Five- Radha Vembu (Zoho Mail)

 

Radha Vembu, 69, sister of Zoho company founder Sridhar Vembu, is at number five in the Kotak Private Banking Hurun Leading Wealth Women List 2021. Radha Vembu's net worth is Rs 26,260 crore. She works as a Product Manager at Zoho Mail.

 

No. Six- Leena Gandhi Tiwari (Global Pharmaceuticals)

 

Leena Gandhi Tiwari's name is number six on the list of India's richest women. Leena Gandhi Tiwari, 65, of Mumbai-based Global Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Corporation USV, has assets worth Rs 24280 crore as per the Kotak Banking Hurun Leading Wealth Women List 2021. He has also donated Rs 24 crore in the field of health services.

 

Number 7 - Mehr Pudumji and Anu Agha (Thermax)

 

Energy and environmental engineering firm Thermax's Anu Agha (79) and Meher Pudumji (56) are at number seven with a net worth of Rs 14,530 crore, according to the Kotak Banking Hurun Leading Wealth Women List 2021. After reaching the age of 76, Anu resigned from the Thermax Board of Directors in 2018. After Anu's daughter Mehr was named the chairperson of Thermax in 2003, she has run the company splendidly.

 

Number Eight- Neha Narkhede (Confluent)

 

Number eight on the list is Neha Narkhede, 38, the co-founder of data streaming technology business Confluent, the richest new member. He is at number eight on this list. According to the list, his net worth is Rs 13,380 crore.

 

Number Nine- Vandana Lal (Dr. Lal PathLabs)

 

The 65-year-old Vandana Lal, executive director of Dr. Lal PathLabs, is at number nine on the Kotak Banking Hurun Leading Wealth Women list for the year 2021. She is also the Head of the Research and Development Department of Dr. Lal Pathlabs.

 

No. Ten- Renu Munjal (Hero Fincorp)

 

Renu Munjal, 67, wife of late Raman Munjal, is number ten on the Kotak Banking Hurun Leading Wealth Women List 2021. His total assets have been estimated at Rs 6620 crores. Renu is the current Managing Director of Hero Fincorp and former Executive Director of Hero MotoCorp.
