According to Russian news agency Sputnik, Vadim Tarasov, director of the Institute for Translational Medicine and Biotechnology, said that "the clinical trial of the world's first corona vaccine has been completed."

 

He told that 'the Moscow-based government medical university Sechenof conducted these trials and found that this vaccine is safe on humans. One group of people who have been tried the vaccine will be discharged from the hospital on July 15 and another group on July 20.

 

On 18 June, the university began clinical trials of the vaccine produced by Russia's Gameli Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology.

 

According to Alexander Lukashev, another senior officer at Sechinoff University, 'The purpose of this phase of the vaccine trial was to ensure that the vaccine is safe for humans or not. The trial has been completed. We have found that this vaccine is safe.

 

Lukashev has said that the strategy is being set for what preparations are to be made for the comprehensive production of the vaccine.

 

Vadim Tarasov said, "During the pandemic period, Sechenof University not only functioned as an educational institution but also as a scientific and technological research center, capable of being involved in the manufacture of important and complex products such as medicines. is."

 

So far, more than 7 million people in the whole world have been completely cured after being infected with the coronavirus.

 

Because of this, scientists and other healthcare-related institutions around the world are making all efforts to complete the production and development of the Covid-19 vaccine at the earliest.

 

Gilead Sciences, currently a researcher at Oxford University and the American biotech company Moderna - is currently at the forefront of developing the vaccine for Covid-19. The initial results of the vaccine at Oxford University in Britain have also been encouraging.

 

At the same time, clinical trials of vaccines made in India are also going on.

 

However, Gilead Sciences previously stated that an analysis showed that 'their anti-viral drug remadecivir helped reduce the risk of death in critically ill Covid-19 patients', but the company cautioned It also said that 'rigorous clinical trials need to be done to confirm the benefits of Remedisvir'.
