According to sources, the accused claimed during police interrogation that he was going to use the Rs 5 crore he had demanded from Salman Khan to build a temple for the Bishnoi community. The Worli police investigation has also revealed that the accused used to constantly watch Lawrence Bishnoi's videos and he is proud of what Lawrence is doing for the Bishnoi community from inside the jail.

The accused told during interrogation that Salman never apologized for whatever he did, whether it was the case of crushing people sleeping on the footpath with a car or the case of allegedly hunting a black buck.
