'The Sabarmati Report' actor Vikrant Massey shocked everyone by announcing his retirement from films by posting on Instagram yesterday. After this shocking news, everyone wants to know why the actor took such a decision at the peak of his career. Although the actor has not given the reason for his sudden decision, a director who has worked with him has revealed the possible reason behind Vikrant's retirement.

Why did Vikrant Massey announce his retirement?

According to India Today's report, a director said on the condition of anonymity, "Vikrant does not want to spread himself too much. He is flooded with OTT and film offers. He fears that he is exposing himself too much and the audience will soon get tired of him. He has often expressed concern in his conversations about doing too many films and tiring his audience. So taking a break and giving yourself some time is a brave decision.. why not?"

Vikrant's retirement announcement has a connection with 'Don 3'

Another industry source told the outlet that his move could also be a strategy to reinvent himself. According to the report, the source said, "He is likely to play a negative role in the next Don being produced by Excel Entertainment. I would not be surprised if this break could be a way to rediscover himself and then relaunch in a completely new form and style. Vikrant has always been a thoughtful actor. He is not someone who works on the surface, so this break may have something to do with Don 3."
