You knew when I was hurting
You helped me with my troubles and pain
Through thick and thin
You've helped me surpass sin
When I was wondering if I was anything
You helped show me that I'm not nothing
You cared about me
You worried about me
With problems I had, you gave me advice
You treated me with great care
Your trust you gave to me
And this I can see
I only hope I can do the same for you
The way you were for me
