Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) new captain Faf du Plessis has joined the team's bio-bubble ahead of the 15th season of the IPL, starting March 26. Faf, who took charge of the team in place of Virat Kohli, has also shared a special message for the fans before the upcoming season.
Faf du Plessis, the newly appointed captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore, said, "Officially the first day of the RCB IPL season. Long journey day. We have to stay in quarantine for three days. Earlier, in an event named RCB Unbox held in Bangalore, the franchise announced its captain. Faf du Plessis has never captained any team in the IPL before and this year RCB bought him in the auction for Rs 7 crore.
