After reaching close to Ponting's record, Rohit has not scored an ODI century in the last 18 months. Sachin Tendulkar (49) is first and Virat Kohli (43) is second in terms of scoring the most centuries in ODIs.

Ricky Ponting holds the world record for winning most Man of the Match awards as a captain. He had achieved this feat 28 times during his tenure, while Virat Kohli had won this award 27 times under his captaincy. Kohli came close to Ponting's record but he could not break his record. Now Kohli has relinquished the captaincy from all formats.
