Russia Ukraine War: Russia bombards Mykoliv with bombs, Ukraine's drone attack on the naval base

Russia bombed wheat fields in the coastal city of Mykoliv in the south of Ukraine on Sunday morning. At the same time, Ukraine launched a drone attack on a naval base in the Black Sea near Crimea, canceling the Navy Day event to be held there. According to Russia, five people were injured in the Ukrainian attack. Hundreds of acres of wheat crop in Ukraine have been destroyed by Russian attacks.

 

On the other hand, Mykoliv's governor Vitaly Kim said that the owner of wheat export company Nibulon, Oleksiy Vadatursky, and his wife were killed in the Russian attack. Nibulon is the largest cereal company in the world. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called it a blow. Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevich said 12 missiles hit residential areas and schools. This was the biggest attack in the last five months. Industrial and residential areas of the city have been destroyed in a simultaneous attack of at least 50 rockets. 72 workers working underground are trapped after two coal mines lost power in the Donsk bombings.

 

Navy to have Zirkan missiles soon: Putin

 

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sunday that the Russian Navy would soon receive hypersonic Zircon missiles. Within a month, these missiles will be deployed on Russian ships and submarines present on important fronts. The missiles, as told by the Kremlin, will be first deployed on the Gorshkov frigate.

 

Russia clarified on US allegations that it has no intention of occupying Russia. Russia's deputy ambassador to the United Nations, Dmitry Polinsky, said Russia wants to demilitarize Ukraine and free its people by removing the Nazis from the regime. Polinsky said the Russian action was justified by the long-range rockets Ukraine received from Western countries. On the other hand, China's deputy ambassador to the United Nations Geng Shuang said without naming America, not caring about the security concerns of others, and strengthening military factions to establish their superiority will only increase conflict and conflict. Due to this, the international community will be divided into factions and the whole world will be unsafe.

 

Russia trying to remove Ukraine from world map: US

 

The US told the United Nations that Russia wants to permanently remove Ukraine from the world map. US Permanent Representative Linda Thomas Greenfield told a meeting of the UN Security Council, "Preparations are being made to hold fake referendums in these areas to integrate Donetsk and Luhansk in eastern Ukraine and Kherson and Zaporizhzhya in the south with Russia." Greenfield said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had expressed his intention to annex Ukraine at the Arab summit in Cairo on Sunday.
