Aftab's post narco interview ends: FSL team will leave Tihar Jail shortly; Police stationed outside the barrack during the test

The 'post narco test interview' of the Shraddha murder case accused Aftab Amin Poonawalla is over. According to media reports, a four-member team from Forensic Science Lab (FSL) reached Tihar Jail at 11 am. In the test, the investigating officers confirmed the questions given in the narco test by asking questions Aftab. During this, security was increased outside Aftab's barrack.

 

Sanjeev Gupta, assistant director of the Forensic Science Lab, said that in the narco test conducted on Thursday, Aftab confessed to killing Shraddha. According to media reports, he has also given information about where Shraddha's mobile and clothes were thrown.

 

Delhi Police had taken Aftab to Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital in Rohini at 8.40 am on Thursday, where he was given a general check-up before the test. According to officials, the narco test started at 10 am on Thursday and was over after about two hours.

 

According to hospital sources, Aftab answered most of the questions asked in the test in English. Sanjeev Gupta said that during the narco test, psychologists, photo experts from Forensic Lab Rohini, and doctors from Ambedkar Hospital were present. Earlier, Aftab had also confessed to the murder of Shraddha in the polygraph test.

1. Brain mapping can also happen

Media reports have quoted sources as saying that if Aftab's narco test remains inconclusive, the police may consider doing Aftab's brain mapping. For this, the police will have to take permission from the court.

 

2. Aftab was agreeing to everything, this is where the suspicion deepened

An officer involved in the investigation told news agency ANI that Aftab is very clever and can bring a new twist to the case anytime. Till now he is obeying the police and is cooperating in the investigation. Even agreed to polygraph and narco test. The police are doubting his good behavior.

 

3. Aftab very confident during the interrogation

It has also been learned from police sources that Aftab was very confident during interrogation. He replied very quickly and relaxed. It seemed that he was giving his answers thoughtfully beforehand. The police also suspect that when Aftab was called for questioning by the Mumbai Police in September-October, some body parts of Shraddha were present in his Delhi flat.
