Now more than 10 thousand corona infections are coming up in the state every day. During this time, reports of people not getting all other health facilities including beds in hospitals are coming out. On Monday, there was some decrease in the number of new patients, but a record 72 people had died due to infection. This is the highest death in a day in the second wave of Corona. With this, the total number of infected in the state has crossed seven lakhs. The number of active patients is 81,576. So far 6,14,819 patients have become healthy. So far 9224 people have died. On Monday, 13,685 were found infected. A day earlier on Sunday, 15,353 patients were found.
The uncontrollable situation in many districts
The situation has become uncontrollable in many districts of UP. 3892 infected were found in Lucknow. 4444 were found infected on Sunday. Apart from this, 1417 patients were found in Varanasi, 1295 in Prayagraj, 716 in Kanpur Nagar, 474 in Gorakhpur, 336 in Meerut, 267 in Jhansi, 239 in Gautam Budh Nagar, 230 in Ballia. On Sunday, 1.93 lakh samples were tested, while on Saturday 2,03,780 samples were tested.
