The Mumbai Police has started the process of dismissal of suspended police officer Sachin Waje, arrested by the NIA in connection with the car of explosives found near industrialist Mukesh Ambani's house and the death of businessman Mansukh Hiran. Sources gave this information. Let us tell you that National Investigation Agency (NIA) Assistant Police Inspector Waje was arrested on 13 March.

The Mumbai Police's Special Branch recently wrote a letter to the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), asking them to provide documents in connection with the case. A police official said that it also included a copy of the FIR lodged in connection with the death of the deer and the statement of his wife, in which he had suspected the role of Waje in the case of Deer's death. He said that the ATS has provided documents to the Mumbai Police.

The official said that the special branch had also sought similar documents from the NIA. Sources said that after receiving the documents, the Special Branch has recently started the process of dismissal of Waje from service under Article 311 of the Constitution.

Based on the documents received from the ATS and NIA, the Special Branch will send a proposal for dismissal of the service to the government and then a decision will be taken accordingly.

Ambani has also arrested assistant police inspector Riyazuddin Qazi and former policemen Vinayak Shinde and cricketer bookie Naresh Gore who worked with Waje in the NIA Crime Intelligence Unit during the investigation into the security lapse case. Qazi was suspended on Monday.

On February 25, a car was found near Ambani's house in South Mumbai, which contained explosive material. On March 5, the car's owner's deer was found in a canal in Thane.
