US to process record visa for Indians
Earlier, the US Embassy had announced a record visa processing for Indians this year. The embassy seeks to reduce the backlog in first-time B1 and B2 tourist and business travel visas. Under this, 2.5 lakh B1/B2 visa appointments have been booked across India. Also, officials from embassies around the world and especially from Washington DC have been called for interviews for first-time B1/B2 visas.
What are H-1B and L-1B visas?
H-1B visa is usually issued to those people who are associated with a particular profession (such as IT professional, architecture, health professional, etc.).
