Now after the murder of Rahul, the question has arisen again on the security of Kashmiri Pandits. After the removal of Article 370 in Kashmir, 14 Hindus including 4 Kashmiri Pandits were killed in terrorist attacks. This was informed by the Ministry of Home Affairs in Parliament.

On the 10th day of the killing of Rahul Bhat, who was killed in a terrorist attack in Kashmir, Kashmiri Pandits of Anantnag district had demonstrated by shaving their heads. He also prayed for the rest of Rahul Bhat's soul. It has also demanded that they should be given security in the Valley or their posting should be made in Jammu.
