Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was on Monday sent to judicial custody till April 15 in a money laundering case related to the now defunct Delhi Liquor Policy scam. Delhi CM's morning started with tea and breakfast in Tihar Jail.

According to news agency ANI, the court has allowed Arvind Kejriwal to eat home-cooked food and carry prescribed medicines with him due to his diabetes.

As per the court order, the Delhi Chief Minister, lodged in high-security Tihar Jail No. 2, has been given a separate room and a table and a chair to keep three books. "On his first night in jail, Kejriwal slept on his bed, which was different from the regular bed provided by the jail administration," ANI quoted Tihar Jail sources as saying.

Had breakfast at 6:40 in the morning

The Delhi Chief Minister woke up early on Tuesday and was served breakfast and tea at 6:40 am. After lunch, they have to go back to their cells at 12 o'clock and remain there till 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

Kejriwal will be able to meet these people in jail

The names of wife, daughter, son, personal secretary, and Rajya Sabha member Sandeep Pathak are included in the list of those who meet regularly on behalf of jailed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

It is known that after the custody period of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) ended on Monday, Kejriwal was taken to Rouse Avenue Court. Where the ED described the Delhi Chief Minister as the "kingpin" in the excise policy scam and told the court that the AAP leader gave "evasive answers" and hid information related to the investigation. Let us tell you that AAP leaders Manish Sisodia, Satyendra Jain, and Sanjay Singh are currently lodged in Tihar Jail in the case of an alleged scam related to excise policy.

Kejriwal reached Tihar for the third time

Arvind Kejriwal reached Tihar Jail for the third time on Monday. Earlier in 2014, the AAP leader was lodged in Tihar jail after he refused to pay bail of Rs 10,000 in a defamation case filed against him by BJP leader Nitin Gadkari.

Earlier in the year 2011, when the Anna Hazare movement was started for the demand of Lokpal, Kejriwal was a part of this movement. During that time, he was sent to Tihar in judicial custody after not signing the personal bond not to violate Section 144.
