49-year-old Chitrangda Singh has been working in cinema for the last two decades, but till now she had not shared the screen with Salman Khan. When the news came last day that she is going to work with Salman for the first time, her fans were happy.
Chitrangda's entry confirmed
Now for the first time on these reports, director Apoorva Lakhia has clearly told whether Chitrangda Singh is a part of the film or not. According to News18, Apoorva has confirmed Chitrangda's entry in the film. Apoorva said, "Ever since I saw her brilliant performance in Hazaron Khwaishein Aisi and then in Bob Biswas, I wanted to work with her."
This is why Chitrangda Singh was cast.
Apoorva Lakhia further said, "We are very happy to welcome Chitrangda Singh to the team of Battle of Galwan. She brings a unique combination of strength and sensitivity which will further enhance Salman Sir's serious but calm personality."
Chitrangda expressed happiness
Chitrangda Singh has also confirmed her entry through a post on social media. She has shared a picture of herself, in which she is seen sitting quietly wearing a white suit and immersed in thoughts. Along with this, she wrote in the caption, "Thank you very much for making me a part of this. This is special. I am looking forward to working with the entire team."
The story of the film is based on the 2020 China-India war. Salman Khan will be seen playing the role of Colonel Santosh Babu in the film. As of now, the release date has not been announced yet.
