Shilpa Shetty reached Mumbai on Thursday and participated in the promotional event of her upcoming film 'KD-The Devil'. The teaser of the Kannada film was released in this event. During this, she was asked to make a statement on the Marathi language controversy but she avoided the question and said that her roots are 'Marathi Mulgi'.

Shilpa Shetty said, 'I am a girl from Maharashtra. Today, we are talking about the film KD. If you are talking about any other controversy, then I cannot promote it. This film is going to be released in many languages ​​, and we can also dub it in Marathi.'

 

Shilpa Shetty's co-star Sanjay Dutt also kept distance from the controversy. He was seen smiling at Shilpa's statement.
